Job Description

As Technical Business Developer, you will help to better serve current customers by accepting projects that go beyond the core business. You will also play a crucial role in translating technically complex matters into commercial solutions and will be responsible for implementing new services, both externally and internally.

  • Identify technical developments and translate them into market needs.
  • Develop market needs into new services.
  • Provide input for business cases with data-driven insights.
  • Actively promote and sell new services internally and externally.
  • Develop gotomarket (together with Sales and Marketing) plans to enable success.
  • Lead the development of new services aligned with the company's strategic direction.
  • Support direct and indirect order intake, collaborating with the sales department.
  • Execute consultancy projects for existing and new customers, focusing on technical specialties.
  • Ensure the successful completion of consultancy projects.
  • Support Account Managers in selling new services.
  • Attend and present on trade shows and seminars.
  • Support the overall order intake for specific new services.
  • Work closely with operations to execute new services.
  • Expand new services operationally to establish them as standard offerings.
  • Manage projects within budgeted hours and ensure a smooth handover through training to the operations team.

  • Organizational Awareness: Recognize and acknowledge both the formal and informal positions within an organization and the influence people have on that organization. Know how to use this influence.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulations and relevant standards in multiple fields.
  • Highly developed communication skills in both Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
  • Completed technical Bachelor’s degree supplemented with commercial experience.
